PEMO conducts a stakeholders’ orientation and training workshop on Open Mining Governance

In line with the Provincial Government’s commitment to Open Governance, PEMO personnel shared as resource persons during a stakeholders orientation and training workshop on Open Mining Governance with emphasis on small scale mining and quarrying regulation to the grassroots sector composed of Indigenous People, Irrigators Association, Farmers, Miners, and Urban Poor representatives. The activity was sponsored by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF) thru the NGO Bantay-Kita and was held at Villa Princessita, Koronadal City from April 22 to 24 2019.
